We have come a long way in technology in the past six years. I remember when the only internet option we had was dial up and how long it took to just get the internet to sign on. I use high speed wimax 4G in Baltimore now from home, and I don’t know where I would be without the internet. I am a college student, as well as a stay at home mom so I use the internet for so many things. The main reason for my internet use is my online college classes. Being able to stay at home with my son and go to college from the comfort of my own living room has made my life so much easier. When I need to look up a recipe or research the signs and symptoms of teething all I have to do is open my laptop and search on the internet. Keeping in touch with my family has also been easy with the internet. I use many social networking websites, along with email to keep in touch with my family from out of state, even out of the country. Without the internet, simply day to day tasks would be so much more complex to complete.
